SERVES: 4 diner-Saurs
TAKES: Up to TWENTY minutes
INGREDIENTS
a) 50g spaGhetti per person
b) 1 BIG BROCCOLI head
c) ¼ onion
d) 15 muShrooms
e) 2 tins of mackerel in TOMATO sauce
f) Seasoning – e.g. BASIL, Parsley or Oregano
USE
Large saucepan
CHOPPING BOARD
Sharp knife
METHOD
1) Chop up the BROCCOLI into little trees.
2) Chop up the quarter ONION into small pieces.
3) Did the onion make you CRY? It shows you’re a REAL cook.
4) Wash and slice the mushrooms.
5) Fill the SAUCEPAN with water but not too high.
6) Put just the spaghetti in the saucepan.
7) Bring the saucepan of water and SPAGHETTI to the boil.
8) Add all the vegetables to the boiling water. Then turn the gas down.
9) SIMMER for about five minutes until everything is soft,
stirring occasionally.
10) Turn the gas off.
11) Pour everything through a SIEVE to get rid of the
water then transfer it back to the saucepan.
12) Then sprinkle and mix a few pinches of SEASONING.
E.g parsley, basil – but not salt
13) Now serve it all from the saucepan onto plates.
14) FINALLY, open the tinned mackerel and chop it up.
15) Serve it onto the plates of SPAGHETTI.
16) EAT and ENJOY!
